Coastal Love
I couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect wedding. Aria was an absolutely stunning bride and her husband to be was the calmest, kindest human. When Aria first asked if I would be willing to shoot her wedding, I was immediately thrilled and simultaneously, intimidated by the possibility. See, Aria has been my coolest and chicest friend since the 4th grade. Life recently brought her back into my world, it was only a year ago, she stopped by my new house that I was in the process of renovating. I was painting the walls as she helped my daughters build their new beds.
I knew that her asking me to document her wedding day, was the highest of honors. I obviously said yes, and I am so glad I did.
Her wedding day was nothing sort of magical. Set amongst the trees near the coast with a little creek running along the property, the sun shining with a breeze blowing in from the ocean. The guest list was only closest friends and family, a gorgeous and kind group of people. Fully engaged in my role as paparazzi, I could not stop obsessing over Aria and Alex, her completely in her Goddess energy and Alex, the most supportive and loving companion. But, my absolute favorite part was watching how obviously they were loved and supported by their friends and family. I drove home, on cloud 9, buzzing from the pure love vibes of the whole day.
Days like this remind me why I do what I do. Thank you, Aria and Alex, for trusting me with your memories.
